BTS Member J-Hope, A Military Instructor, Sent A Chuseok Greeting To ARMY: ‘Have A Happy Chuseok’

Top K-pop group BTS member J-Hope sent a Chuseok greeting to fans even during his military service.

J-Hope posted a message on the global fan community Weverse on September 28, saying, “Happy Chuseok. ARMY, have a happy Chuseok.”

J-Hope expressed his love for fans even in a short message by using a kiss emoji and a salute emoji.

J-Hope, who enlisted in the Baekho Recruit Training Center of the Army’s 36th Infantry Division in Gangwon-do on April 18, has been serving as a training assistant since July after receiving research lectures as a teaching assistant.

Last week, a number of commemorative photos of recruits who completed the training camp and their families with their training instructor J-Hope were posted on social media and popular communities, becoming a hot topic. J-Hope’s dignified yet friendly appearance attracted attention.

Among them, there was a recruit who showed affectionate brotherly chemistry by calling J-Hope “our older brother.” Fans who saw this responded enthusiastically, saying, “I’m jealous that I can call J-Hope ‘my brother'” and “J-Hope is a warm person even in the military.”

J-Hope’s expected discharge date is October 17, 2024.
