BTS’ “Permission To Dance” Music Video Surpasses 600 Million Views..12th Time Overall

The music video for “Permission to Dance,” released on July 9, 2021, surpassed 600 million views on YouTube at 4:21 AM on August 14. This makes BTS the only artist to have 12 music videos with over 600 million views.

“Permission to Dance” is a dance-pop song that sends a message to everyone who has hit a wall in reality and had a tiring day, saying “You can dance freely without permission.” It debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States on July 24, 2021.

In addition, this song has obtained the Japan Record Association’s ‘Triple Platinum’ (as of February 2023) certification, given to works with more than 300 million cumulative plays.
