BTS V’s “Love Me Again” Tops K-Pop Radar Chart, Music Video Surpasses 40 Million Views

BTS member V topped the weekly fan chart of K-Pop Radar, a K-Pop chart show broadcast throughout the United States.
K-Pop Radar, a K-Pop chart program, has been regularly scheduled on a US radio program for the first time in K-Pop history. The K-Pop Radar weekly fan chart was announced on August 18.

On this week’s chart, the pre-released song ‘Love Me Again’ from V’s first solo album ‘Layover’ occupied the top spot.

V’s ‘Love Me Again’ music video recorded a whopping 39.69 million views during the 3rd week of August (August 10, 2023 – August 16, 2023) of K-Pop Radar. It reached a record of close to 40 million views in less than a week. The number of Spotify followers also increased by about 232,000, setting an overwhelming record, more than 80 times the average K-pop artist of 2,800.

Also, according to K-Pop Radar, V’s Instagram followers increased by about 162,000 during the week. Looking at the average increase of 11,000 Instagram followers of K-pop artists during the same period, it can be confirmed that the number is more than 15 times.

Regarding this, K-Pop Radar said, “Despite being a b-side song, it showed the firepower of a BTS member,” and “an artist whose official comeback is more anticipated.”
