BTS’s V, A New Family Member..To JYP, “Uncle?”

BTS’s V and JYP Park Jin-young showed off their warm family love.

V’s remarks are due to the tvN show “You Quiz on the Block” (hereafter “You Quiz”), which aired on November 1st. During the show, HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk and JYP Entertainment CCO Park Jin-young, who participated as guests on “You Quiz,” introduced an anecdote related to BTS and revealed that they felt like nephews when they met at a past awards ceremony.

Bang Si-hyuk also said that while Park Jin-young and BTS are not actually family, they are probably like uncles and nephews in terms of formality, showing off their friendship between seniors and juniors in the music industry.

As a result, V, who monitored the broadcast, captured the part where Park Jin-young said, “What should I say, nephew..?” and settled on calling Park Jin-young “uncle,” which elicited laughter.

V released his first solo album, “Layover,” in September. In particular, Ador’s general producer Min Heejin, who created NewJin at V’s suggestion, led the album production in general, which drew attention.
