Hyeri’s character Pil Sun, a high school student who calms Geoje Island’s seas with her dancing, was featured in ‘Victory’ stills on July 2. Pil Sun is driven to achieve her goals and exudes confidence and boldness. In the stills, Hyeri wonderfully captures the 2000s mood with oversized clothes, short bangs, and careless hair. Hyeri: “Reading the script for ‘Victory’ made me feel overwhelmed seeing Pil Sun dancing to those tunes. For ‘Victory’, I had to practice cheering, hip hop, and dialects. It allowed me to attempt new things.” Hyeri had in mind from the script’s initial draft, said director Park Bum Soo. She has enthusiasm, different talents, physical ability, and beauty. I thought this movie should use Pil Sun’s charm and vitality. Her involvement is so great that the film feels like hers.”
