Choi Min-Hwan And Yulhee Of FT Island And LABOUM Filed For Divorce After 5 Years.

On December 4, Choi Min-hwan of FT Island and Yulhee, previously of LABOUM, announced their divorce after five years. Both musicians announced it on social media.

Choi Min-hwan said, “We end our marriage after long negotiations. We appreciate the support and encouragement for our early family start. I appreciate family, teammates, and fans’ support. Sincerely, I apologize. As a father, I will try to prevent emotional wounds.”

Yulhee said, “We’ve agreed to support each other’s paths after much time, work, and conversation. As parents, our path continues beyond our marriage. We promise to care for and interact with our kids.”

Yulhee added, “We decided the children should stay in their familiar home after great thinking. Both of us are caring for the kids to minimize practical and psychological interruptions. I try to spend time with the kids to lessen the impact of her absence.”

Choi Min-hwan and Yulhee, who married in 2018, have a son and twin daughters. Choi Min-hwan has consented to have custody of the three children during divorce proceedings.
