Choi Min Shik And Kim Go Eun In Upcoming Supernatural Mystery ‘Exhuma’



Jang Jae-hyun, known for ‘Svaha: The Sixth Finger’ and ‘The Priests’, is attracting international notice with ‘Exhuma’.


‘Exhuma’, scheduled for release in February, has garnered global attention with five international posters and a teaser in ‘Variety’.


International posters with mysterious figures and dramatic close-ups captivate onlookers. The first poster shows a mystery monster barely emerging from buried soil, piqueing interest in the ‘vicious’. Along with the English title “EXHUMA” and the tagline “The vicious emerges,” the photos of four characters fiercely concentrated on something unknown pique interest in the grave robbery’s aftermath.


The worldwide trailer released with the posters follows a geomancer, funeral director, and shamans as they get involved in strange events after the grave robbery. The sentence, “The worst of the worst,” forebodingly describes the conditions for those relocating a questionable grave.


From the geomancer ‘Sang-deok’ seeking the land to the shaman ‘Hwa-rim’ appeasing spirits, the meticulously prepared funeral director ‘Yeong-geun’, and the mantra-chanting shaman ‘Bong-gil’, these four strong characters collaborate in an unprecedented way, promising extreme immersion and intense genre entertainment

‘Exhuma’ is an occult mystery film about a geomancer, funeral director, and shamans who get a large money to move a mysterious burial. The fresh concept of grave robbing, Jang Jae-hyun’s director, and Choi Min-sik, Kim Go-eun, Yoo Hae-jin, and Lee Do-hyun’s cast have intrigued domestic and foreign audiences.

The film, whose trailer and visuals have garnered attention, will open in February.
