With a recent item release, the future of RIIZE’s Seunghan, who has been sidelined owing to previous controversies, becomes unclear.
When a number of Seunghan’s old pictures and videos from RIIZE were released back in November 2023, it caused a lot of controversy because the male idol was accused of smoking, dating, and making remarks about other idols.

Seunghan was forced to put RIIZE activities on hold and embark on an indefinite break, even though SM claimed that the footage had been intentionally altered.


Almost three months have passed since Seunghan’s scandals, and discussions regarding whether the male idol will rejoin the group are still running strong.

There are differing views on the subject, particularly considering that Seunghan continues to refrain from making RIIZE comebacks despite occasionally showing up in promotional videos.


However, some believe that Seunghan may eventually leave the group because the “7” in RIIZE’s logo—which stands for all 7 members, including Seunghan—has been erased.

Furthermore, SM just unveiled a brand-new range of products with the official plush toys of six members—Seunghan not included. It is known that the band themselves developed the plush toys.

Many have conjectured that Seunghan’s absence may eventually result in his departure, or at the very least, that the hiatus will not be ending anytime soon.
