Former NU’EST member Aron announced his ‘Oppa and Me’ fan gathering this week.

Aron and 300 lucky fans will spend two nights and three days at a resort in Wonju, Gangwon-do, enjoying picture sessions, sporting events, live broadcasts, movie screenings, DIY lessons, and more.

However, the high participation cost of 990,000 KRW (~ $742 USD) aroused fears about fan exploitation. Participants also complained about the limited boarding options, which required them to share a room with four individuals.


Aron said the event was for his 12-year-old admirers, but some supporters were disappointed.


Aron debuted with NU’EST in 2012. The group disbanded in 2022 after all five members split.
