D.O.’s May Solo Comeback Album Is Anticipated.

D.O. said on January 3 KST that he is ready to release a solo album as his first project of the year. He plans to sing again in April and May, getting compositions from different composers.

Last September, D.O. delivered his first new song in two years on his second mini album. He shined as a solo artist and vocalist, unlike in EXO. If he releases another album this year, he’ll return to music after 8 months.

Last November, D.O. quit SM Entertainment and joined Company SooSoo, a new agency independent from his longtime manager who had managed him since his debut.


D.O. will have a fan meetup on January 13 KST to celebrate their birthday, release a solo album in May, and begin filming the 35 billion blockbuster drama ‘Sculpture City’ in the second part of the year. He portrays a designer who sculpts people’s lives to create torment in the show, his first villain role.
