Out of a total of 436,368 votes in this poll, Jungkook received 154,366 votes, equivalent to a 35.4% approval rate, and claimed the top position.

July witnessed a fierce “comeback battle” that ignited a war. The activities of trending male artists stood out, especially. NCT Dream, TREASURE, MONSTA X’s Shownu x Hyungwon, EXO, ZERO-BASE1, and even fourth-generation representative girl groups Newzins, ITZY, and ENHYPEN fiercely competed for chart rankings.

While all released highly polished music and satisfied listeners, Jungkook confidently took the first place amid tough competition, embodying the true essence of a “global star.” This achievement is even more meaningful as it was accomplished not as part of the group BTS, but as a solo artist. Jungkook’s first solo track “SEVEN,” released on the 14th of last month, is a song about wanting to spend the whole week with a loved one. Its addictive melody, warm acoustic guitar sound, and the fusion of UK garage rhythm are its defining features.

Through this accomplishment, Jungkook has demonstrated his amplified vocal tone, singing ability, and performance skills, which were not fully realized during his group activities. This poll saw a majority of votes from the Asian region at 67.3%, followed by North America and Central America at 12.9%, and Europe at 9.3%.

By country, South Korea had the most votes at 73,853, followed by Indonesia with 56,050 votes, and the United States with 38,594 votes.
