The Official Award Of A Certificate

BTS’s Jimin blazed a trail in K-pop history when he became the fastest solo artist from the genre to amass 1 billion streams on Spotify, a record certified by the K-Pop Records Library on March 27, 2025. Achieving this feat in just 393 days by May 22, 2023 the vocalist outpaced his bandmate Jungkook’s 409-day mark, cementing his solo stardom with a surge sparked by his debut EP FACE.

Feat:

Jimin, born Park Ji-min, kicked off his solo Spotify journey on April 24, 2022, with “With You” (feat. Ha Sung-woon), but it was FACE, released March 24, 2023, that propelled him to the billion-stream milestone. The six-track EP, led by “Like Crazy” (over 500 million streams by 2025), racked up streams alongside hits like “Set Me Free Pt. 2” and collabs such as “VIBE” with TAEYANG. Guinness World Records confirmed his record on May 26, 2023, noting he beat Jungkook’s March 27 milestone by 16 days. Posts on X in 2025 still buzzed about his feat, with FACE nearing 2 billion streams by March.

The K-Pop Records Library awarded Jimin a certificate, honoring his 393-day sprint as a testament to his global appeal and ARMY’s streaming power, outshining Lisa’s 411-day record from 2022
