In a press release on October 9, Park Hye-soo’s agency Ghost Studio stated, “The investigative agency has sent the case to the prosecution on the grounds that the defendant significantly damaged the plaintiff’s reputation by spreading false information and charged the defendant with defamation. Further inquiry is ongoing.”

Park Hye-soo sued for false facts and repeated defamation in addition to the criminal case. The bureau claimed, “Legal proceedings have been delayed for months because the defendant’s residence is unknown. The actress and our company will investigate and reveal the truth. We will continue to defend the actress’s rights”.

A netizen revealed in 2021 that Park Hye-soo bullied them in school.

Park Hye-soo responded through her agency that the suspicions were unfounded and that she would take vigorous legal action.
