Some new K-Pop idol groups don’t have “story universes”!

Until a year ago, K-Pop acts had a “storyline” to accompany their music, but a new generation of acts has changed that.

SM Entertainment’s youngest boy group RIIZE may be lucky to not have a large “story universe”! EXO and NCT are examples. With TVXQ, SM Entertainment was one of the first K-Pop agencies to suggest “elaborate stage names”.

One group member has decided to create intricate fantasy universe stage names for RIIZE members!

Eunseok mentioned at RIIZE’s recent fan meetup that he has always wanted to debut as “Black Shadow”.

He then created stage names for his team mates, until all six had fantasy universe names.

The six members have changed their Weverse IDs to their stage names! They are:

Electronic Zephyr Sungchan

Anton = Healer Michael

Sohee = Dark Emperor

Wonbin = Total Darkness Star, Darkbin

The Abyssal Shadow, Black Shadow

Hector, Shotaro = Fire Tornado
