Former December’s Yoon Hyuk gets 10 years for fraud

Former December member Yoon Hyuk faces a 10-year fraud term.

At the Incheon District Court on the 2nd, Yoon Hyuk was arrested and charged with fraud under the Specific Economic Crime Weighted Punishment Act. The prosecution requested a 10-year jail term on April 4. Yoon Hyuk is accused of defrauding 20 victims of 1.7 billion won ($1,263,964.11 USD) in investment schemes from August 2021 to May 2018.

Last June, Yoon Hyuk was arrested for 800 million won ($594,835.68 USD) in fraud and 7 additional counts. Legal experts, celebrities, management, and fans are victims.

Yoon Hyuk’s verdict will be heard at the Incheon District Court on May 23 KST after the court merged his fraud proceedings.
