Recent threats have raised safety worries for IVE’s Jang Won Young, according to Starship Entertainment.

Starship issued a statement on May 9 in reaction to an internet threat against Jang Won Young. Label stated:

“IVE artist Jang Won Young was threatened on a community platform yesterday.

The authorities are investigating the post, which included the threat’s date and time. We want a quick investigation and protection for our artist, and we’ll sue if the poster’s identity is proved.

We’re hiring more professional protection and examining our artists’ travel routes, residences, and workplaces to protect them. We’ll increase artist safety monitoring and respond quickly and forcefully.

Continuing to ensure our artists’ safety is our goal.”
