While attempting to put on a guerilla performance for international fans, BTS’s V was largely ignored.

Video named “V’s 20 second LIVE @ Gangneung” was posted on BTS’s official YouTube channel “BANGTANTV” on September 21.

V has planned this as a covert operation. The male idol’s strategy was to perform for multiple audiences while disguised as a doll and then reveal himself to them all at once.

The live performance took place at a jazz club, and each patron was allowed only 20 seconds of listening time.

The jazz club was frequented by a wide range of people, from singles to couples. In particular, the “unexpected” behavior of international tourists became a topic of conversation in internet forums.

After being told by the bartender that “it’s a live show where you can hear a singer sing live,” two international tourists decided to check out the jazz club.

Nonetheless, aside from the two, the seedy jazz club was empty. They were both getting nervous and afraid of the empty jazz club when one of them finally spoke up and demanded, “Why is there no one here?” In response, the other asked, “Should we just give up and go?” After hearing this, the two quickly left the jazz club.

The staff tried to tell the two foreign tourists that the singer was indeed V from BTS, but by that time, the pair had already fled the scene.

V, who had been hiding behind the curtain, was taken aback when he learned that his audience had fled.
