In the ever-evolving world of K-pop, few achievements have been as monumental as BTS’s record-breaking world tour, which became the highest-grossing K-pop tour of all time. BTS made history with their Map of the Soul Tour, which was originally planned to be their biggest global tour yet. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the full tour was canceled. Despite this setback, BTS still managed to set records with their previous tour, Love Yourself: Speak Yourself, which became the highest-grossing K-pop tour of all time.

BTS’s Love Yourself: Speak Yourself tour began in 2019. It was an add-on to their Love Yourself world tour. This run of stadium concerts was truly historic. They took place on four continents and drew fans from all over the world. With about $196.4 million made from just 42 shows, the tour was the most successful K-pop tour ever at the time. BTS filled stadiums that were mostly used by Western artists. They were also the first Korean band to lead and sell out London’s Wembley Stadium. Their two-night concert at Wembley saw over 114,000 fans in attendance, solidifying their place in music history.
