Actor Kang Dong Won made a rare appearance as a guest host on the YouTube comedy show “Psick University.”
The English hosts of “Psick University” had a pleasant conversation with the actor that day, and he revealed some unusual and refreshing personal information. The hosts also had Kang Dong Won divulge his “YouTube algorithms,” noting that the actor’s recommendations included news videos, golf videos, health videos, episodes of “Psick University,” and “You Quiz on the Block” footage.
The next step was to determine if Kang Dong Won was indeed a “ahjusshi” by giving him the “ahjae” test. Kang Dong Won was born in.
The first question, “Have you ever tried tanghulu?” brought the poor actor to his knees, and all he could say was, “What? That seems like food to me.
Kang Dong Won, upon sampling tanghulu for the first time, said, “It tastes like dalgona, plus fruit.” After that, the actor was questioned, “Do you know any trendy slang?” to which he eventually responded, “King-bat-nae?” But the hosts thought that answer should be thrown out since Kang Dong Won said the word “ahjae” too many times throughout his delivery.
The actor failed the “ahjae” test with a single right guess, “How long do Instagram stories last?” He also seemed unaware of the prevalence of words like “Are you T?”
The above video features Kang Dong Won’s funny interview with the hosts of “Psick University.”
