In Response To G-Dragon’s Drug Accusations, YG Entertainment

Regarding G-Dragon’s drug accusations, YG Entertainment reacted.

The Big Bang member was identified as the well-known figure connected to Lee Sun Gyun’s drug scandal, as was previously reported, and YG Entertainment, his former label, was contacted to inquire about the developments. YG Entertainment said to the media in response to G-Dragon’s drug accusations, “It’s difficult to officially respond as he’s not an artist belonging to our company.” This past June, G-Dragon’s exclusive deal with YG Entertainment expired.

Following the drug probe involving actor Lee Sun Gyun, there are reports that G-Dragon was identified by the authorities following further inquiry. He was later charged with breaking the Narcotics Control Act by the Incheon Metropolitan Police, but they did not hold him.

“We cannot reveal details as it is an ongoing investigation,” the police said in reference to the situation.
