Hong Sa Bin Joins Lee Je Hoon’s Military Breakout To Reunite With His Family In Upcoming Film “Escape” Hong Sa Bin is in fresh stills from the upcoming action thriller “Escape”! “Escape” depicts the dramatic escape and pursuit of North Korean soldier Gyu Nam (Lee Je Hoon), who longs to live a life with a future, and security team officer Hyun Sang (Koo Kyo Hwan), who must stop him. The story takes place on the other side of the barbed-wire fence at the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). Lee Jong Pil, the director of “The Sound of a Flower” and “Samjin Company English Class,” is directing the picture. Hong Sa Bin, who gained recognition for his parts in the films “Jirisan” and “Duty After School,” was praised for his deft depictions of the inner struggles of his characters and became a rising star. He received two awards: the London Asian Film Festival’s Rising Star and the Blue Dragon Film Awards’ Best New Actor. Gyu Nam and Dong Hyuk, a young soldier stationed close to the Military Demarcation Line, are portrayed by Hong Sa Bin. Gyu Nam treats Dong Hyuk like a member of the family. Dong Hyuk tries to join Gyu Nam’s escape plan because he dreams of being with his sister and mother, who he believes are defectors. Dong Hyuk takes matters into his own hands and modifies the plan when Gyu Nam declines. He eventually embarks on the perilous voyage, adding to their tale a blend of naiveté and resolute haste. Recently made public stills show him hiding with a tense expression, showing dread and scars from severe torture, and cautiously examining his surroundings at night to provide an insight into his difficult escape. Hong Sa Bin is prepared to showcase his skills on television once more as he deftly captures Dong Hyuk’s anxious state of mind after making the decision to flee that would change his life.

He will also manage difficult action sequences, such as fast running and dodging chase with Gyu Nam, demonstrating his adaptability once more. “I envisioned Dong Hyuk as a friend or a family member, someone relatable,” director Lee Jong Pil clarified. I believed that Dong Hyuk should be portrayed by a talented actor who could bring life to seemingly unremarkable but colorful individuals. “Hong Sa Bin’s performance is truly outstanding,” he went on. He also epitomizes what it is to be a sweet, devoted, and caring friend. The movie “Escape” will open in theaters on July 3. While waiting, observe Hong Sa Bin in
