It Is Anticipated That The SBS Shows ‘Gayo Daejeon’ Would Be Broadcast Twice This Year.

The SBS “Gayo Daejeon” end-of-year music festival program is scheduled for both the first and second halves of 2024, according to Sports Chosun.

The ‘Gayo Daejeon’ production team has agreed to organize the event twice a year, and they are currently in the process of choosing a site and sending out invitations. As with last year, the location is probably Incheon Yeongjongdo’s Inspire Arena.

It is anticipated that the festival will take place in the middle of July and December, with the first part of the event supposedly taking place on July 21 and the second half on December 25. This is the first terrestrial broadcast music festival program to be held twice a year, replacing the custom of holding “Gayo Daejeon” on Christmas every year since 2017. ‘Gayo Daejeon’ debuted in 1996, 28 years after its initial airing.

All eyes are on ‘Gayo Daejeon’ to properly end both events this year, especially in light of last year’s controversy, which included substantial ticket fraud, audience disturbances at the red carpet event, an artist’s stage collapse, and audio playback issues.
