IU discussed her forthcoming music video with BTS member V.

At the request of his close buddy IU, Taehyung filmed a music video as his final activity before enlisting in the military earlier this month.

IU teased her upcoming album for next year on a YouTube video on December 25. Fans’ eagerness was heightened by her hints.

IU was pleased with the music video, noting, “The tone and mood were wonderful when I shot it. It was fantastic sans CG. This is new to lU’s MVs.”

The crew joked, “Didn’t you try to run away back then?” IU joked, “I attempted to flee. But my tire flattened. Funnier is that V-ssi got a flat tire, so I said “let’s run away,” but my car did too. I assume they installed glass on the spot to keep us in.”

On September 12, Taehyung performed in IU’s ‘Palette’ They were close enough to speak casual language, surprising everyone with their friendship.

IU introduced Taehyung: “Many would be astonished. How did V appear on ‘Palette’?” She said, “We’ve met before. We normally chat casually.”

Taehyung replied, “Music brought us close. We communicate readily about music. We had similar tastes.”

They sang “Ending Scene” afterward. IU liked their harmony and proposed a pair performance; their voices melded wonderfully.
