IU has teamed together with ‘Concrete Utopia’ director Uhm Tae Hwa for her forthcoming music video starring BTS’ V.
Expectations are already high after IU said she’ll be collaborating with V for her long-awaited comeback before his military service, but it looks like fans have more to look forward to. On December 7, rumors stated IU’s comeback MV was directed by Uhm Tae Hwa of the 2023 hit disaster film ‘Concrete Utopia’.
IU’s label EDAM Entertainment revealed, “Director Uhm Tae Hwa of the film ‘Concrete Utopia’ was in charge of directing, and they’ve wrapped up filming. IU is currently busy finishing filming for ‘You Have Done Well’.”
IU and Uhm Tae Hwa previously teamed for the video production of IU’s 10th anniversary concert in 2018. This also marks IU’s second collaboration with a BTS member following her prior successful efforts with SUGA on tunes like “Eight” and SUGA’s “People Part 2”.
