IU Will Release A New Album Featuring A Collaboration With BTS’ V

The legendary singer and actress IU will release her debut album in two and a half years. IU has enlisted V, a beloved BTS member, to boost enthusiasm.

IU’s agency, EDAM Entertainment, reported on the 5th that IU finished filming a music video for her next song with V. This cooperation single is part of a new album scheduled for release in the first half of the year. In December 2021, IU released the EP ‘Pieces’ as her farewell record.

IU’s album release date is unknown, but the music video was shot early to fit V’s schedule, since he begins military service on December 11 KST.

IU and V’s dynamic musical collaborations and fascinating chats on IU’s Palette web talk series will be familiar to BTS fans. IU’s second BTS duet after her successful collaborations with SUGA on “Eight” and “People Part 2.”
