IU’s past 15 years, the faces of those who share that moment are full of smiles. We listened to the stories of the fans who said “I’m proud of the times we spent together” and the staff who said “moment”.
From the 21st of last month to the 20th of this month, I personally went to the media art exhibition ‘Moment,’ held at the Galleria Foret the Seouliteum in Seongdong-gu, Seoul to commemorate the 15th anniversary of IU’s debut. IU’s, by IU, and exhibition for you, ‘Moment,’ is filled with colorful contents that allow you to look back on her memories of the past 15 years with IU and picture the times you will spend together in the future.
Visited in the late afternoon on weekdays, ‘Moment,’ was filled with a variety of audiences, from singles to couples and friends. ‘Moment,’ which receives a limited audience of 200 people per hour in preparation for safety accidents, etc., further increased satisfaction by being able to view the exhibition in a calm and relaxed atmosphere.
Most of the audience I met at the scene that day were IU’s fans, and they said they came to share memories of the past 15 years and support her future activities.
Lee Sang-hwa, who visited the IU exhibition during her military service, said, “I am happy that my vacation time coincided with the IU exhibition. It is a great comfort to have the feeling of doing it. I look forward to great activities in the future.”
In addition, the two female audience in their early 20s also revealed that they were Yuaena and said, “It’s really nice to be able to share precious memories with IU. I’m happy that I can make new memories with IU in a space full of memories. I did,” he said with satisfaction.
Couples in the audience also took pictures of each other or took selfies together and enjoyed a sweet date. As IU’s fans, a couple in the audience said, “It was a fun time. I would like to recommend it as a date course.”
The staff I met at the site also showed their pride as members of the IU exhibition and seemed to be united in one mind. Everyone greeted the audience with bright smiles, and their kind guidance stood out.
The staff I met at the photo booth said that the photo event is held for a fee, but many people participate. He hinted, “It is so popular that there is a waiting line on the weekends. Not only those who have seen the exhibition, but also those who have visited other exhibitions participate in the photo event.”
The staff I met at the ticket exchange booth were also busy showing off the atmosphere at the scene. They all said in unison, “When you look at the faces of the audience when exchanging tickets, everyone is smiling. You can feel the anticipation and excitement of the audience just by looking at their faces.”
Seo In-yeop, team leader of the merchandise shop connected after all the exhibitions, said, “I am also from Uaena, so I am happy to be with you. Not only me, but many of the staff as IU fans have a heart of cheering. The only thing I can do is to be with this exhibition. I am honored and proud of it,” he said.
He continued, “As many kinds of products are prepared, the response from the fans is also good. The staff are waiting until all sales are over because they can’t be purchased right now, but they are so popular that I don’t know if there will be any left over. IU like that many people. You can feel the passion and interest in him.”
He also said, “You can feel how meaningful and good this exhibition is just by looking at the expressions of the audience who visited the site. I will show you a responsible image.”
Lastly, he added warmth by leaving a message of support for IU, “Everyone is cheering for and loving IU with one heart. Please continue to do well in the future.”
Meanwhile, IU’s ‘Moment’ will continue until the 20th of this month.
