IVE solved a locked room mystery to finish their detective game.



On February 26, Starship Entertainment, the group’s agency, released the ninth episode of “1,2,3 IVE Season 4” on their YouTube channel. IVE investigated a locked room case in the previous episode.

Jang Wonyoung, Rei, and Leeseo each claimed to have found the victim first, causing mayhem. Wonyoung claimed she had a fake convenience store receipt to avoid suspicion. Despite her alibi, Leeseo disliked the victim. Gaeul also claimed to know the victim but held a grudge. An Yujin was upset after the victim threatened to disclose her past and clashed with her over her sister Leeseo.

After investigating, Gaeul, Leeseo, and An Yujin were named suspects. The mystery was deepened by Gaeul and An Yujin’s hand injuries, Jang Wonyoung’s face injury, and Leeseo’s finger ink.


With these hints, the members whittled down the suspects in a fun, light-hearted deduction. The tension culminated on the “Night of the True Culprit,” when Liz was outwitted by the genuine perpetrator. Five votes went to Gaeul as the guilty party. The victim regained consciousness and identified Gaeul as the attacker.
