Jang Hyunseung Talks Candidly On The Prospect Of Making Amends With Highlight Members

Former member of B2ST Jang Hyunseung made a cameo appearance on Big Bang Daesung’s new YouTube series, “ZIP (Home) Daesung,” on April 5 KST.

Daesung said at the beginning of the show on this particular day, “Jang Hyunseung was regrettably eliminated on ‘Big Bang Project.'” After that, we were not able to communicate much. I’m not the type of person who can greet others with affection.”

“We’re having a long conversation like this for the first time since the Big Bang documentary,” Daesung said as he greeted Jang Hyunseung.

Here, Daesung brought up the previous conflict between Jang Hyunseung and Highlight members. “When the members tried to create the group Highlight, there were news articles saying that a new B2ST would be formed with Jang Hyunseung and 2 other members.”

Jang Hyunseung remembered his posture at the time after hearing this. “I never received word of those plans. Indeed, I was still employed by that company at the time, but they kept me in the dark about it. When I woke up in the morning, I saw the news,” the ex-B2ST participant stated.

“Did the other members also hear about it through the news?” Daesung then inquired. In response, Hyunseung said, “I think so. Now that I think about it, it might have seemed to them that I had some say in the choice. However, if they believed that, then there was a miscommunication.

“Do you ever want to reconcile with them and just open up about everything?” Daesung remarked in response. Now that all has passed.”

In response, Hyunseung said, “It has indeed been a while. I’m up for talk at all times. Simply put, nobody has made a significant effort to facilitate that conversation.”

Having compassion, “It’s not easy to be a part of a team,” Daesung said.
