Jennie Sheds Tears As Blackpink Wraps Up 7th Anniversary Concert At Gocheok Dome

K-pop girl group BLACKPINK (BLACKPINK, Jisoo, Rosé, Jennie, Lisa) finished the finale of their year-long major world tour in style at Gocheok Sky Dome.

BLACKPINK held their successful “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR [BORN PINK] FINALE IN SEOUL” from 6pm on September 17, following their concert on September 16.

Starting in October 2022, Blackpink carried out the largest tour in the history of a girl group with 64 concerts in 34 cities including North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, and the Middle East, including an encore performance, and 30,000 people attended the sold-out Seoul concert. With the addition of 5,000 people, a monumental record of mobilizing a total of 1.8 million viewers was set.

In particular, the performance on the 17th was confirmed to be held simultaneously online and offline for the first time in this tour, attracting even more attention as it is Blackpink’s solo concert to be broadcast online 2 years and 8 months after ‘THE SHOW’.

YG said, “As this is an online streaming for fans around the world who want to share the last moments of the tour, the best staff at home and abroad are working hard. By concentrating all the know-how we have accumulated over the years, we will deliver a vivid sense of presence and the best sound to fans who were unable to visit the site.” He said, “For this finale performance only, we added a set and performance of the well-received ‘Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival’ version that captures Korea’s unique beauty. It properly demonstrates the status of Blackpink, who has been reborn as the world’s top artist in terms of scale and talent. “You can really feel it,” he said.

On this day, Blackpink started the concert with a delay of about 20 minutes and opened with the Billboard 200 No. 1 hit song ‘Pink Venom’. Following a powerful performance intro with a powerful aura, Blackpink wore a white dress and completed the live performance of the concert version of ‘Pink Venom’.

After finishing the performance, member Rosé said, “I am finally happy and happy to be performing for the second time in Seoul after a year.” In response to Jennie’s greeting, Jisoo said, “Please have fun today,” and Lisa also greeted Blink (Blackpink fandom) and naturally continued performing ‘How You Like That’, ‘Pretty Savage’, and ‘Kick It‘.

Lisa said, “It seems like the cheers are louder than yesterday. It seems like it’s even louder than yesterday, so I’m also energized.” Jisoo said, “Let’s run with energy until the end. You’re with us until the end of this finale. Dance like crazy for the last time of the one-year tour.” He elicited a positive response by saying, “Are you ready to give and shout?” Jenny said, “I’m sad that BLINKs are sitting right now. Please stand up.”

After communicating with fans, Blackpink immediately continued with the ‘Whistle’ stage, and after a dance break and a teaser video, the members’ solo stages were depicted. First, Jenny opened with ‘SOLO’ and ‘YOU & ME’. Jenny presented a sexy aura along with stable vocals through both stages. Next, Rosé performed ‘Gone’ and ‘On The Ground’, Jisoo performed ‘All Eyes On ME’ and ‘FLOWER’, and Lisa performed ‘MONEY’.

After completing the solo stage parade, Blackpink came back as a complete group with ‘Kill This Love’. They started to change the mood through a stage full of charisma, and after finishing the stage, Rosé started communicating again and sang ‘Lovesick Girls’ together, saying, “You guys need to sing. Please follow what we do.”

After finishing the performance of ‘Playing with Fire’, ‘Typa Girl’, ‘Shut Down’, and ‘Don’t Know What To Do’, Jisoo said, “It’s really hot today. Can you feel the heat?” and said, “I felt sad for the people sitting over there. I can see all the people who got up in a hurry.” “I’m watching,” he said cutely. Lisa shouted “Scream” to the fans on the second and third floors.

Rosé said, “I’m happy that so many people supported me until the last performance. I remember my first tour performance,” and “I’ll remember it for the rest of my life, so I’m grateful for letting me participate in Seoul’s second world tour.” When the members said, “Don’t cry,” Rosé pledged, “I won’t cry today,” and the members responded, “Let’s watch.”

Jenny said, “The concert is coming to an end, and unlike other shows up to this point, my heart is growing as I go through each paragraph. How are you guys? Is it good?” and “I hope everyone enjoys it as it is the day that ends the year.” I answered and continued the performance.

After performing ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ following ‘Tally’, Rosé heated up the heat even more by saying, “Everyone, this is almost the last song. Please sing the next song together as well.” The members completed the ‘Forever Young’ stage as the final parade in the Seoul finale.

Afterwards, following the dance challenge video, Blackpink went around the concert hall and sang ‘Stay’, ‘Boombayah’, and ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah’ as an encore stage. Then, they went back on stage and took pictures with fans, saying, ‘Let’s make this moment last forever.’ I held up a placard with the phrase ‘I will do it’ written on it.

Jisoo said, “I am happy that I started in Seoul a year ago today and was able to finish the finale here. I am grateful to Blink for leaving me good memories. Many thoughts came to my mind while performing. I am fortunate that I was able to perform well and healthy without getting sick, and I am grateful to Blink for giving me strength. “Everyone worked hard,” he said.

Rosé said, “I’ve been on the world tour twice, and it feels like just yesterday. I feel like I’ve become one with BLINKs as I’ve been flying around all year long. I’m happy.”

Lisa said, “I wrote down what I wanted to say to Blink on my phone so I wouldn’t forget it. It’s been 2596 days since we met. This tour was with Blink, so I was able to perform at a great venue. I couldn’t have done it without Blink. Weather or not, I couldn’t have done it.” “Thank you for having fun together, no matter how bad or bad it is. I love you, Blink, for giving me a great experience, and thank you for brightening my 20s. I love you.”

Jenny said, “I would like to say to our members that you have worked very hard. We had to spend a lot of time on planes and moving around, but the four of us had the spirit to guide each other to good health. I would like to say to our members that they have worked hard, and it has been 7 years since our debut. , but looking back on that time, I wanted to show a cool and good side of me, so I wanted to have a finale in Seoul since I couldn’t meet many people in Korea, and I’m happy. I’m grateful to everyone,” he said. “I know the staff also supported me for a year. “I want to share in the glory. Blink, thank you for always supporting us. We will become a great Blackpink in the future,” he said.
