The memory of Jessica’s departure from Girls’ Generation was recently recounted, and she also disclosed her honest views about the experience.
On the 20th of December, Jessica presented herself as a special guest on the comedy podcast ‘The Daily Ketchup’ from Singapore. During her appearance, she discussed her upcoming endeavors.
On this particular day, one of the hosts posed the topic, “What are some of the drawbacks associated with having such a public life?” “There are ups and downs, and the grass is greener on the other side,” Jessica responded. “There are both in life.” There are times when I feel extremely fortunate, but there are also times when I wish I could have the life of my friend, or even simply a normal life. But on the other hand, I am also really happy with my life. Nevertheless, nobody can have everything. I do my best to maintain a sense of equilibrium in my life.
Not only did the emcee bring up the subject of Jessica quitting Girls’ Generation, but she also inquired openly about how she was feeling about the situation. “Right after you left the band (Girls’ Generation), a lot of people were speculating on what really happened, and I can only imagine how emotionally heavy it must have been for you to leave the band,” the presenter asked. So, to answer your question, what were you thinking about throughout that time period?
Jessica revealed, “I make an effort to put the past in the past and to search for the positive aspects of life.” During that time, I was going through one of the most difficult periods of my life, which was also the darkest time of my life. My family and friends were there to provide me with unwavering support, and my fans were always there to cheer me on. No one made me feel isolated. In addition, I had the impression that it was a good time for me to mature.
