Jimin Of BTS Gives The Gyeongnam Office Of Education’s 100 Million Won In Scholarships

Jimin of BTS has given the Gyeongnam Office of Education 100 million won ($72,647.24 USD) in scholarships. Jimin’s father made the donation on his behalf, according to a Provincial Office of Education official who disclosed this information on May 30. According to the official, “Singer Jimin spent his school days in Busan and has no direct connection to Gyeongnam, but we understand he made the donation with pure intentions for students in the province.” Since 2019, Jimin has given books and scholarships to educational offices in places like Busan and Jeonnam for students from low-income families. Through the Gyeongsangnam-do Future Education Foundation, an organization supported by the Provincial Office of Education, his most recent donation will be utilized to provide scholarships for students from low-income households in the province.
