Jiyoung of KARA criticizes a police officer for allegedly acting rudely.
Jiyoung of KARA criticized a policeman for what she perceived to be impolite actions.
Jiyoung posted the statement below to her followers on social media on April 23. The KARA member claimed that she was going to the police station to get her license, something she had looked into in great detail prior to going.
Jiyoung saw an older woman renewing her license during her visit, and she also saw the police officer’s behavior toward the woman. “She was there to renew her license,” the writer stated. Looking back, I can see that our parents occasionally needed to renew their licenses. The old woman was questioned about whether or not she met the nation’s criterion of having vision over 0.8. The woman said that her eyesight was just 0.8. The officer then gave her a direct response, telling her to either buy new glasses right away or not renew her license today.
Jiyoung went on, “I was really grieved to think that maybe the lady sitting next to me was my mother. If my mother didn’t know what to do and the person helping her was unkind and useless, I would feel as though my entire world was crumbling.”
“You might say it’s not a big deal, but sometimes it’s even hard to keep up for me in this age of rapid development with kiosks and apps,” she said in closing. I wish the directions were easier to understand for adults or were available in large type. They may find it difficult or unfamiliar to do an internet search for guidance. (You may be asking yourself, ‘Who am I to say these things?’ But if I can help, I’ll contribute to the creation of instructions.)”
Jiyoung was moved to tears at witnessing the elderly woman’s embarrassment and chastised the concerned police officer for failing to provide clear directions. Then she replied that she didn’t feel confident enough to assist the woman.
