Artist Kang Daniel sued Konnect Entertainment’s majority shareholder. According to YTN’s investigation, Kang Daniel filed a complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against Konnect’s significant shareholder today (20th). The charges include 10 billion KRW forgery of private documents, 2 billion KRW embezzlement and breach of trust under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes, violations of the Information and Communication Network Act, and over 2 billion KRW fraud under the Criminal Act. Kang Daniel alleges that the primary shareholder embezzled company funds and forged a corporate seal to sign a 10 billion KRW music distribution contract. Konnect Entertainment was founded in 2019 by Kang Daniel. He has been the label’s CEO and artist for five years, releasing ‘Color on Me,’ ‘MAGENTA,’ and ‘YELLOW.’ Last June, he released his fourth mini-album, REALIZ. He performed in North America, Europe, and Asia on a globe tour last year.
