Kang Tae Oh, An Actor, Has Finished His Required Duty

On March 19 KST, actor Kang Tae Oh is scheduled to finish his mandatory military service and be released from active duty in the Army. On September 20, 2022, Kang Tae Oh enlisted in the military and reported to the 37th Division Recruit Training Center located in Jeungpyeong-gun, North Chungcheong Province. He worked as a recruit training center assistant after completing basic military training.

Kang Tae-oh was well-liked before he enlisted because of his portrayal of Lee Jun Ho in ENA’s Wednesday–Thursday drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.” But in order to complete his military duty, he decided to put his acting career on hold.

Kang Tae Oh thanked the military for the experiences he had while serving and gave thought to his time there. “After finishing ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo,’ I received a lot of love from many people and enlisted in the military,” he said. “I chose to kick bad habits and only acquire positive things after serving in the military during the last two decades of my 20s and the first three decades of my 30s. It was a profound moment.”

Kang Tae Oh stated that he was determined to present a favorable image when he returned to the entertainment industry and looked forward to his post-discharge activities. “I will greet you with a good image and work in the future, so please show a lot of anticipation and love,” he said.
