Kim Sejeong released the tracklist for her first full-length album, “Moon,” on her official SNS on August 22. The album includes two title tracks, “Haehae (Voyage)” and “Top or Cliff,” as well as 9 other songs: “If We Do,” “The Sea I Wished For,” “The Song of Stagnation,” “Even Though We Draw Without Knowing It, We Draw Each Other,” “Jenga,” “Indigo Promise,” “Send a Letter,” “When We Have to Cross the Rainbow Someday,” and “When I Hear the Sound of Rain.”
In particular, Kim Se-jeong wrote the lyrics for all 11 songs in this album, and it is known that she directly participated in the composition of 9 songs, excluding ‘Top or Cliff’ and ‘Someday I Have to Cross the Rainbow’.
The title song ‘Sailing’ is an Irish pop rock genre song. Another title song, ‘Top or Cliff’, is an R&B pop genre that captures Sejeong Kim’s unique charm with dreamy and deep vocals.
The b-side song ‘If We Do’ is a pop jazz genre song that conveys a warm charm, and ‘Wished Sea’ is a dream pop and ambient pop genre song that harmonizes with Kim Se-jeong’s sensuous lyrics and fantasy. ‘Song of Boredom’ is an indie rock genre song with a charming vintage band sound, and ‘Jenga’ is an alternative rock genre song based on house and trap beats.
