“Layover” By BTS V Surpasses 100 Million Streams On Spotify Prior To The Album’s Release

Kim Taehyung, alias V of BTS, surpasses a streaming benchmark prior to the release of his album.

Two weeks before its official release, “Layover,” Taehyung’s solo debut album, has already surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest streaming platform.

The August 11 pre-release of his two B-side compositions, “Love Me Again” and “Rainy Days,” led to this accomplishment.

“Layover,” slated for release on September 8, consists of five compositions and a bonus track, including the title track “Slow Dancing” and the B-sides “Blue” and “For Us.”
