Le Sserafim’s English Song “Perfect Night” Tops Korean Charts, As Its The 1st K-pop Girl Group To Achieve This In History

The K-pop girl group Le Sserafim (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) has topped the Melon “Top 100” chart with their song “Perfect Night.” This is the first time a K-pop girl group has reached number one on this chart with an English song.

LE SSERAFIM’s first English digital single “Perfect Night” topped Melon’s real-time chart, “Top 100,” at 11 p.m. on November 19. The song entered the chart at 98th place last month and continued to climb the ranks to reach the top in 22 days. It also showed its power by maintaining its position at No. 1 on the “Top 100” from 8 to 9 a.m. on November 20.

LE SSERAFIM added another record by becoming the first K-pop girl group to top Melon’s “Top 100” with an English song. This is particularly meaningful because it is an achievement achieved in the domestic music chart where English songs are relatively weak.
