The K-pop Records Library (KRL) is pleased to announce that the anthology album Proof, which features the music of BTS and its dedicated fan base known as ARMY, has been named the most streamed K-pop album by a group on Spotify. With an incredible 16 billion streams by April 2, 2025, Proof has established BTS as the streaming titans and surpassed all previous group releases in K-pop history.
With the release of Proof on June 10, 2022, BTS celebrated their nine-year journey with an album that blended new songs like “Yet to Come” with old hits like “Dynamite” and “Butter.” A fitting farewell to the band before their military hiatus, the 35-track collection was well-received by fans all across the globe. By early 2025, its record-breaking 16 billion streams had surpassed not only their own Love Yourself: Answer (8.2 billion) and Map of the Soul: 7 (6.1 billion), but also any other K-pop group that has before.
