The Official Award Of A Certificate

BTS’s Jimin captivated global listeners when his second solo album, MUSE, became the most streamed K-pop album by a soloist on Spotify in 2024, a milestone certified by the K-Pop Records Library on March 27, 2025. Released on July 19, 2024, under Big Hit Music, the six-track album amassed over 900 million streams by December, per Koreaboo and X posts, outpacing BTS’s Jung Kook’s GOLDEN (800 million) and Jennie’s Mantra (650 million), driven by ARMY’s fervent streaming power.

Jimin exhibited his expressive vocals throughout pop and hip-hop hits including “Be Mine” and “Smeraldo Garden March” on MUSE, which featured the chart-topping single “Who” (600 million streams alone). According to The Korea Herald, the album’s lead single “Who” was the most streamed K-pop song worldwide in Spotify’s 2024 Wrapped. In December 2024, X posted (@cocojm13_) that MUSE had surpassed ILLIT’s SUPER REAL ME (676 million) in tracking, even though it had only been tracking for four months. Circle Chart reported 2.7 million copies sold worldwide by March 2025 for MUSE, and allkpop ranked Jimin as the number four K-pop artist on Spotify. In 2024, K-pop was the streaming king, and Jimin was honored by the K-Pop Records Library with a certificate commemorating MUSE’s 900 million streams.
