The drama “My Dearest”‘s backstory is covered in “Cross the Line.”
Ahn Eun-jin, the lead female character in the hit drama “My Dearest,” made a special appearance on MBC’s “Cross the Line” broadcast on October 9. “My Dearest” was composed during Joseon’s Qing escape. As a result, historian Lim Yong-han made an appearance on the program to discuss the Manchu War.

Conquering the Ming was the Qing’s goal. The Qing initially attempted to form an alliance with Joseon because of their lesser population and fear of being attacked from behind.
