Girl group NewJeans (Minji, Hani, Danielle, Hae-rin, Hye-in) set a new record for the 4th generation K-pop girl group on the Billboard main chart.
According to the latest chart (as of September 30) released by Billboard on the 26th (local time), New Genes’ 2nd mini album ‘Get Up’ ranked 42nd on the Billboard 200 chart. As a result, ‘Get Up’ entered this chart at number 1 (as of August 5th) and ranked high for 9 consecutive weeks, setting a record for being the longest charting member of the 4th generation K-pop girl group.
In addition to the Billboard 200, ‘Get Up’ is strong on several detailed charts in the album category. ‘Get Up’ ranked first on the Billboard World Album Chart for eight weeks, and ranked 8th and 9th on the Billboard Top Current Album Sales Chart and Billboard Top Album Sales Chart, respectively.
New Jeans still maintains solid popularity on major Billboard music charts.
