NewJeans Tops The August Singer Brand Reputation “Beyond Trends To Icon”

Girl group Newjins (NewJeans) once again proved their popularity by topping the August singer brand reputation.

New Jeans took first place as a result of big data analysis in August 2023 of the singer’s brand reputation announced by the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute on August 26. Young-woong Lim in 2nd place, BTS in 3rd place, Ive in 4th place, and Seventeen in 5th place.

The New Jeans (Minji, Hani, Daniel, Harin, Hyein) brand, which ranked first in the singer’s brand reputation, was analyzed as a brand reputation index of 9,762,620, with a participation index of 2,065,771, a media index of 2,319,190, a communication index of 2,598,384, and a community index of 2,779,275. Compared to the brand reputation index of 6,077,769 in July, it rose by 60.63%.

Director of the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute Koo Chang-hwan stated, “The New Jeans brand, which is becoming an icon beyond the hip trend, took first place.”

From July 26, 2023 to August 8, 2023, the Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute analysed 120,103,200 big data of singer brands and analysed consumers’ brand participation, media, communication, and community. In comparison to 110,856,123 singer brand large data in July, this number increased by 8.34%.

The singer brand reputation index extracts big data from singer brands that are displaying music that consumers enjoy, analyses consumer behaviour, categorises them into participation value, communication value, media value, and community value, and analyses the positive-negative ratio and reputation analysis algorithm. This is a calculated indicator. Through brand reputation analysis, you can determine who, where, how, how often, and why people are discussing your brand.

August 2023 places New Jeans, Lim Young-woong, BTS, Ive, Seventeen, Blackpink, Jeon So-mi, Kim Ho-joong, Le Seraphim, NCT, Psy, Young-tak, Lee Chan-won, Oh My Girl, IU, (female) Kids, Kang Daniel, Twice, EXO, Song Ga-in, and Na Hoon-ah thirty-first in the singer brand reputation ranking. Sequential analysis was conducted on Seong Si-kyung, Lee Young-ji, Espa, Taeyeon, Girls’ Generation, StayC, Lee Seung-joon, Mark Top, and Fromis 9.
