Olympic Medalist Nam Hyun Hee Acquitted Of Scamming Ex-fiance Jun Chung Jo

Former fiance Jun Chung Jo’s fraud allegations against Olympic medalist Nam Hyun Hee were dropped.

Police acquitted Nam Hyun Hee of aiding her ex-fiance’s fraud on March 5. After her former boyfriend Jung Chung Jo was charged with defrauding 27 individuals out of 3 billion won ($2,249,162.10 USD) for investments, the Olympic fencing medalist came under fire.

Nam Hyun Hee claimed she was a victim, however she received a Bentley and luxury bags, suggesting she was an accomplice. Jun Chung Jo received a 12-year sentence from a Seoul district court last month.

It was later revealed that Jun Chung Jo was not a third-generation conglomerate heir or a successful businessman. Her fraud conviction and claim to have dated IU were revealed.
