While the recent relationship issue involving RIIZE member Anton is still generating discussion on numerous online forums, some internet users are leveling fresh charges against Anton.
Some internet users claim that Anton of RIIZE once had a private Instagram account called “ilovesamsungsomuch” before it was deleted.
The popular Korean electronics brand “Samsung” was ridiculed by the internet, who subsequently asserted that the nickname was a sarcastic jab at Koreans.
In addition, the new relationship issue involving Anton has revived old controversy over his father, the singer Yoon Sang.
When Yoon Sang was in his twenties, the Military Manpower Administration looked into his attempts to obtain Argentinian citizenship in order to evade serving in the military. Yoon Sang eventually gave up his Argentinean citizenship and enlisted as an active duty soldier when the authorities threatened to put his name on Interpol.
Korean internet users said,
“I guess Yoon Sang’s son is just going to give up his Korean citizenship when the time comes for him to get his physical examination for his military service assignment.”
“Like father like son.”
“Ignore the sex scandal. He’s as corrupt as they come, if that hidden account is indeed his. He was born in America by happenstance, and both of his parents are Korean. Does he believe he can offend Korea?”
“Time for another apology letter.”
“Take away his Korean citizenship and deport him back to where he came from.”
“Is it accurate to say that he can bid his career farewell? Dating controversies are only of interest to fanatical fans; the general public will not care about this.”
“I wish he will return to his native country and attempt to succeed as a musician there. He can’t, that’s right.”
“He can act all high and mighty however much he wants but to the eyes of all other Americans, you’re just as Korean as any of us kekekekeke.”
“This boy thinks he has blue eyes and blonde hair.”
“Kick him out, RIIZE only needs 4 members.”
