Variety announced on January 30 (local time) that Kim Tae Hee and Park Hae Soo will star in Daniel Dae Kim’s spy thriller “Butterfly.”
Later that day, Park Hae Soo’s agency said, “He plans to add impact to the series as he carries out English lines in ‘Butterfly.’”
The agency revealed, “Kim Tae Hee decided to star in ‘Butterfly.’”
Based on the graphic novel of the same name, “Butterfly” follows David Jung (Daniel Dae Kim), a mysterious former U.S. intelligence agent whose life is shattered by a choice and who is chased by Rebecca, who has been ordered to kill him.
Park Hae Soo was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 74th Emmy Awards for his performance as Sang Woo in Netflix’s “Squid Game.” The box office triumph of “Narco-Saints” solidified his global status.
“Lies Hidden in My Garden” co-starring Kim Sung Oh and Lim Ji Yeon was Kim Tae Hee’s successful return to television.
