Kang Jong Hyun gave Park Min Young 250 million won, Dispatch reported on the 15th. Kang loaned Park Min Young money from a subsidiary company for living costs, the paper said.

Hook Entertainment, Park Min Young’s agency, responded, “In February 2023, the prosecution investigated actress Park Min Young as a reference person in connection with Kang Jong Hyun using her account in another name. It was stated that Park Min Young did not engage in illicit operations or acquire advantages. To clarify, Kang Jong Hyun’s account utilized 250 million won, not Park Min Young’s living expenditures.

The agency stated, “Park Min Young has been misunderstood for over a year due to false information. However, she accepted criticism and regretted her choices, focusing on performing. She believes her obligation as an actress is to act well.


Kang Jong Hyun was romantically linked to Park Min Young in 2022 and was accused of owning Bithumb. They admitted their relationship but shortly split.
