PLAVE, A Virtual Boy Band, Files A Lawsuit Over Offensive Posts.

We are aggressively pursuing legal action to stop hostile online activity that is directed towards PLAVE. After going over about 20,000 reported cases and the data gathered by the company and fans, we completed criminal complaints for about 30 cases that were determined to be prosecutable as of November 2023. Additionally, legal action has been taken against those who use Twitter [X] to propagate false information about PLAVE and our business.

The investigative body, Mapo Police Station, has notified us that they have gathered IP addresses for every case that has been submitted and are currently identifying potential culprits. We can only make this information public at this time due to procedural restrictions. Following the criminal trial of the defendants, we will resolutely pursue all legal actions, including civil damages claims, and have requested severe punishment under a zero-tolerance policy. For any situations that arise in the future, our organization will likewise constantly implement this policy.

Sincere love and concern for PLAVE are evident in every report fans send us, and we are grateful for the time and effort they put into each one. We pledge to do everything in our power to uphold the intent underlying your reports and to respect the rights of our artists.

We are always appreciative of the fans’ unwavering love and support, and we’ll do everything in our power to return the favor in the future.”‘”

In a separate release, VLAST talked about donations and presents from fans. The company has made the decision to only accept letters as gifts, in accordance with the requests of PLAVE members. By choosing to prioritize meaningful connections with its supporters over tangible gifts, the organization is demonstrating their respect for the human connection and sentiments conveyed through written words.

This string of remarks from VLAST not only demonstrates their proactive approach to protecting its artists, but it also shows how much they value the relationship between PLAVE and their fans and want it to continue to be based on love, respect, and understanding.
