Commissioner Cho Ji Ho revealed plans to accelerate the investigation into Min Hee Jin’s complaint against ADOR, HYBE’s subsidiary label, at a news conference at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Seoul Office in Jongno-gu on May 7 KST. Cho said “Given the high level of public interest, we will conduct a thorough investigation at a faster pace than usual.”
Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency Chief Cho Ji Ho said the probe is evaluating data and that the absence of proven figures does not discredit the allegations. He underlined the significance of thorough research to find the truth.
HYBE accused CEO Min Hee Jin and VP Shin Dong Hoon of breach of trust at Seoul’s Yongsan Police Station on April 25 KST. HYBE announced that they had found evidence of ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin’s plan to grab management control after an interim audit. Communication with external investors and management rights methods are reportedly in the evidence. In addition, Adore CEO Min Hee Jin acknowledged to writing documents to weaken HYBE.
