Red Velvet’s Seulgi discusses her SM Entertainment recruitment process



Seulgi of Red Velvet discussed how SM Entertainment recruited her.

On the March 2nd edition of ‘Immortal Songs’, Seulgi discussed her goal to join SM Entertainment before becoming a trainee in school. She said “I was waiting to be recruited,” adds, “I thought there might be a scouter or someone who casts for the label outside of schools, so I always dressed up well and waited.”

Seulgi said “However, I never got a card from SM Entertainment, so I went to the label myself.”

Last month, Seulgi launched her own YouTube account.
