Rocky returns with a dance-oriented debut album.
Through their official SNS and fan cafe, agency One Fine Entertainment formally unveiled the tracklist for Rocky’s mini first album, “ROCKYST,” on the 13th.
There are six tunes on ‘ROCKYST,’ including the title track ‘LUCKY ROCKY’. The other tracks are ‘Music Is My Life,’ ‘Your Halley,’ ‘Chameleon,’ ‘Do You Want to See or Not,’ and ‘Find Me.’
The catchy saxophone and funky guitar notes from the start of the retro-pop song “LUCKY ROCKY,” which serves as the title tune, are highly captivating. Singing and dancing to this song, Rocky’s passionate yet elegant choreography catches the eye and conveys the message that luck will come.
This album has particular significance because it is Rocky’s first solo album in eight years since his debut. Rocky contributed to the music and lyric writing of every song, displaying his distinct approach. In an effort to solidify his concept and image as a solo artist, Rocky set five of the six tracks as dance tunes, showcasing his prowess as a “idol dance prodigy.”
Rocky’s first solo mini album, “ROCKYST,” will be available for purchase on a number of internet music sites on the 22nd at 6 PM.
